We take pride in offering excellent, high-quality training courses at extremely low cost. As you might imagine, a company that sells products that cost as little as ours, we cannot afford to spend a great deal of time on the phone providing individual instructions. That is why we have provided extensive online support and information which should be able to answer all of your questions. One of the ways you can help us to keep our prices as low as possible is to use the online help and support alternatives rather than the phone, whenever possible. If, however, you have followed all of the instructions that came with your course, and have exhausted all of the above options, and feel that you have no other way to obtain assistance, please call us at 1-800-517-7500. CE Reporting
How do I get credit in another state for the course that I took?
Many agents want credit for courses, usually regarding Long Term Care, in various states. This is called "reciprocity." If you have already completed a course and wish to get reciprocity in another state, and those states have reciprocity with each other, you can take the certificate of the completed course and take it to the state's Department of Insurance that you wish to get the credit in. They can either approve or deny the reciprocity request. Sandi Kruise Inc does NOT grant reciprocity in other states, as only that state's DOI can approve this.
Agents who need credit in a state that is not reciprocal would need to re-purchase and re-take the exam specific for that second state, including following any monitoring rules that state may have.
How do you report credits to the state?
In most states we report your credit electronically within one business day of you passing your exam, as long as we have all the forms needed to get your credits reported. If there is anything we need from you like a monitor form or any other information, we will be sure to contact you usually by email or phone to let you know. Some states do receive reports in the mail, so it could take up to a week before the state even receives the report from our company. In some states it does take more than 3 business days for credit to show up with the state, so please allow 1-2 weeks for your info to show before contacting the state or us about credit not showing.
How long does it take for my credit to be submitted to the Department of Insurance?
In any state where the CE provider is responsible for reporting your credit, we report your credit within one business day of receiving and processing your exam or certificate order. For state's that require a monitor form for the exam, the monitor form MUST be received by Sandi Kruise Inc. within one business day of the course completion, or you may not be reported for the course. Once we receive the monitor form, we will report you for the course within one - three business days. Please refer to the SPECIFIC STATE INFORMATION link in our kruise.com Help Center to learn more about your state's specific reporting requirements.
How do you report credits to the CFP Board?
CFP course completions are reported to the CFP Board every Friday, with the cutoff being the previous night at midnight. Obviously, completing a course after midnight on Friday morning just means that your completion will be posted in the next week's batch.
How do I get CFP credit for an eligible CA Insurance CE course?
If you've already completed a course for Insurance CE, but would like to receive CFP credit for it, and the course is eligible to do so, follow this link: https://www.kruise.com/shopping/cfp-or-pace-credit/product/cfp-reporting-for-insurance-course
Note that not every CE course is eligible. To see which ones are, follow the just-mentioned link and click the "Select Course" dropdown menu on the top right. Each course in the dropdown is eligible, courses that are not are not listed.
Rush Grading or Reporting
CE Reporting is handled and sent to the state the business day after you complete your exam. Or if there's a holiday or weekend no more than 3. For CFP reporting those are handled every Friday. If you wish to have your courses reported sooner we offer a same-day reporting service, the price is $25 per course. This service must be ordered over the phone no later than 3:30pm at 800-517-7500
What are state filing fees?
Some states charge in fees order to report/file course credit. Because of this, our courses that require state filing fees already include that state's filing fee in that course's total price. Most states charge a flat rate per credit hour, so the more credit hours your course is worth, the higher the fee usually is. -
CE Subscriptions
What is the CE Subscription?
The best deal that we offer for taking insurance CE courses is to purchase our online CE subscription. We have CE Subscriptions for all of the states that allow online CE courses! Upon purchase, the student will have online access to all of the courses that we offer for that specific state. You can purchase this subscription by clicking on the CE SUBSCRIPTIONS link on www.kruise.com. To open the CE Subscription after purchase, you can go to "My Courses" on the navigation menu on the left. Or, click "Student Center" on the top-right of our website (it may be the three horizontal lines "hamburger" icon on mobile to find the menus), then click "My Courses". All course material/books will be available for download and all exams will be available to the student for a period of one year from the original purchase date. Just scroll down to the name of the course you wish to take and there will be a button to open the study materials/book and a button to take the exam. The cost of the subscription covers the online book/presentation, test, exam grading, certificate of completion, and reporting (where required by law). The only additional charges that may be assessed are:
- The state filing fee which varies by state and by individual course.
- Fees for additional certificates ordered for optional professional designation CE
- Fees for request of a CFP certificate for a CE course completion (see the CFP & PACE CREDIT section on our menu at kruise.com for more information on CFP credit)
Please review the CE Subscription's course list carefully to be sure the courses you need are included. We do our best to make sure that our subscriptions include any and all courses that you may need to renew your insurance license. If you have any other questions about our CE Subscriptions, please refer to the CONTACT US section of the kruise.com Help Center.

Certificates of Completion
How do I print my certificate online?
In many states, when you pass your exam online you can print your certificate from your testing account. States which do not require a monitor form will allow you to print your certificate after passing your exam.
Your certificates are available under the ‘student center’ section of the website.
If your certificate is not available it is most likely because the state requires you to send in a Monitor form or Affidavit before being able to receive a certificate of completion. If this is the case for your state you will have to send us that form via mail, email or fax (depending on the state regulations) and then wait for the certificate to be processed and emailed back to you.
System Requirements:
Internet explorer 8 or higher: Download here, or Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or higher: Download here are required to view our website when you wish to access the learning center.
How Long should I keep my certificate?
We suggest you keep your certificate of completion at least 3 renewal periods, or 5-6 years. Certain states require that you maintain them in your files for a certain amount of years. Please check our SPECIFIC STATE INFO link in our kruise.com Help Center for more information on your state's filing information regarding CE certificates.
How will I receive my certificate?
You will receive a certificate either by printing it on the website after you complete your exam or for printed self-study exams you will have it mailed/emailed to you once we receive a report of you passing your exam.
States which do not require a monitor form will allow you to print your certificate after passing your online exam. For monitored states, we must have your filled monitor form / affidavit in hand prior to granting your certificate.
Your certificates are available under the ‘student center’ section of the website.
I lost my certificate! How do I get a new one?
If you took your exam online, you should have access to your certificates under the ‘Student Center’ section of the website.
If a certificate is not available there, please give us a call to order a new certificate.
What do I do with my certificate once I receive it?
You should always keep a copy of your certificate in your files for future reference. Most of the time that is all the certificate is good for. In some state’s you need to use your certificate to claim credits for that state, where agents are responsible for self-reporting their courses. Some companies also require that they keep a certificate in their files as well. It is always best to keep them in your files for several years, as they are proof that you did complete the course. Some state's require that you keep your certificates of completion on file for a certain number of years, so please refer to the SPECIFIC STATE INFORMATION section of our kruise.com Help Center for information on your state's filing requirements.
When will I receive a certificate?
You will receive a certificate either by printing it on the website after you complete your exam or you will have it mailed/emailed to you once we receive a report of you passing your exam. We receive an exam report every morning from Monday to Friday. Once we receive the daily report (and your monitor form if applicable) then we will report you for credits and send you your certificate to you within one business day of course completion. If additional copies of a certificate are needed, you can find those certificates under the ‘Student Center’. If a certificate is not available there, please give us a call to order a new certificate. -

Ask us a Question!
On each individual product page, there is a red "Ask a Question!" button. If you click on the button, you can send an email with your question regarding that particular product. Also note the information tabs at the bottom of each product page. Most of the information on that product is already there for you convenience. If you can not find the answer you are looking for, feel free to ask us a question. -
Long Term Care
What are the requirements for Long-Term Care?
In California, agents who have held their insurance license for over four years (have renewed their license twice) require 8 hours of Long-Term Care before renewal, to be qualified to sell the product in through their next license term.
Agents who have held an insurance license less than 4 years require 16 LTC hours per renewal – two different 8 hour LTC classes.
In many other NAIC states, first-timers take an 8-hour course, typically once in their career. Every license term after that, they take a 4-hour “refresher” course. Some states have their own smaller courses required as well. For example, Massachusetts has an additional state-specific 2-hour course on top of that. Check with each state’s State Information to see what’s available in your state.
Are my Long-Term Care credits transferrable between states?
In NAIC states, yes. Except for the Massachusetts example above (where some states require their own state-specific courses), the courses taken from one NAIC state will be honored by another state. You’ll just have to send your certificate from the state you took the course in to the other state’s Department of Insurance.
In California or New York, , unfortunately, no. Both of these states' Long-Term Care programs are self-contained, and aren’t honored in other states. -
Monitor Information
Which states require that my exam be monitored?
If a monitor is required for your state, you will see that information stated on the product page for your course or subscription under the monitor information tab. If you are taking your exam for credit in any of the states which require a monitor, then you must NOT open the exam until you are with your monitor and follow all instructions for your state.
Some states only require that an AFFIDAVIT be signed and submitted to us. This means that you do not need a monitor, but that you and another person must sign the form affirming that you did take the exam without any outside assistance and without an open book.)
Where can I get a monitor form for my state?
The monitor form can be found before, and after any exam which requires a monitor. You can also find a copy of the monitor form on the monitor information tab on the product’s page, where you originally purchased the course.
If you are in a monitored state you MUST fill out the monitor form and fax/email it to us before we can issue any certificates or credit. The monitor is responsible for making sure that you are the person taking the exam, and with a closed book. If you have any questions about who can be a monitor, please read the “Monitor Information” tab on the product page where you purchased your course. You can fax your monitor form to 619-421-8171 or email it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. -
Online Exams
Can I pause my test and come back to it later?
Yes, in the sense that if you leave the exam, the site will remember the last question you completed, and start you off again on the next question. Your previous answers are saved, but you cannot go back and change them after leaving and coming back; you’ll have to finish out the current exam.
Can I print my exam questions?
Some states allow you to download your exam questions from your online account. When you open your exam, there will be a button at the bottom of the window that says "Download Questions" that will save all the all of the test questions to a file for you, which you then may print. This button is only available on tests that the states allow to print the questions.
How do I access my study materials and test?
1) First, you must log into your testing account. You can do this by going to www.kruise.com and logging in, either on the home page or the top right.
2) You are now logged into your account. From here, click “Student Center > My courses from the drop-down menus on the top right. You will now see a list of available courses that you have purchased. If you purchased multiple courses, you should see the lesson names of all of those courses on this page. To get started on a particular course, click the green “Open Course” button on the right of its entry.
3) TO ACCESS STUDY MATERIALS/BOOK, just click on the “CLICK HERE FOR THE BOOK” button. This will open up a PDF file of the book that you can either read online, save to your desktop, or print out. This book contains all of the course material that you will need to study before taking the exam. Note that some states require you to open the book before beginning the test, so the “Next” button may be grayed out until the “CLICK HERE FOR THE BOOK” button is pressed. Also, you can access the book by clicking the "documents" icon in blue on the left when inside the course. It's right underneath the "house" icon.
4) TO ACCESS THE EXAM, just click “Next” button. You’ll then be told how many questions this test contains. Press “Next” again and you’ll be presented with the first question of the test.
How do I find a Proctor for my online exam?
Most states list certified proctors on their websites. Please check our SPECIFIC STATE INFORMATION link in our kruise.com Help Center for your state's information regarding state websites and requirements for monitored exams. If you still are not sure who can be a proctor for your exam, we would be happy to assist you with finding one! You can email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 1-800-517-7500 for more assistance. Please note that the best way to get a hold of us is by email, not by phone. We are a busy company whose phone lines get tied up easily. Please send us an email for the fastest response.
How do I know which answers I got wrong on my exam?
Unfortunately, it is against state rules for us to disclose any of the answers to the test to our students. We are not allowed to tell you which specific answers you got wrong or what the correct answer was. We are only allowed to give out the percentage in which the questions were answered correctly. Please do not ask us to make exceptions on this matter, as that would be both illegal and unethical. Fortunately, if you didn’t pass the exam, you have an unlimited number of attempts to try again.
How do I obtain my Certificate after passing a course?
If you have passed an exam online, in a non-monitored state it is very simple to get a certificate for passing:
1) Go to www.kruise.com
2) Log in if asked with your email address and password
3) Click on Student Center > My Certificates in the drop-down menu.
4) Scroll down to the course in question, and there it is.
It's that easy!
If you took the course on paper, self study, or if you took a course in a monitored state: (In a state where a monitor or proctor must be present to take the exam). Expect an email when your certificate is ready.
How do I use Adobe Readers find function?
You can find helpful hints for using the Adobe Search Function here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/searching-pdfs.html
How many times can I take an online exam?
You have an unlimited number attempts for online exams. Obviously, you only need to pass it once.
Who should I contact when I experience a computer error?
The first thing that you should do is read all of the info in our ONLINE EXAMS and SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS section in our kruise.com Help Center. We have many answers for various issues in there just for you. If you cannot find an answer in the Help Center, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (fastest way to get help), or 1-800-517-7500 or use the Live-Support link to contact us online. *Note: If it is a printer issue, it is best to have someone in your office help you. We can help with some printer issues, but it is sometimes difficult for us to troubleshoot issues that do not involve our programs and products.
How do I know which answers I got wrong on my online test?
Unfortunately, because you have an unlimited amount of attempts to take exams, it is against state rules for us to disclose any of the answers to the test to our students. We are not allowed to tell you which specific answers you got wrong or what the correct answer was. This would enable someone to go through the exam one question at a time and get the correct answers for all of them. -
Ordering Courses
Why do I have to register for an account on kruise.com?
The Departments of Insurance require that we keep track of every person who takes an exam online. This means that every individual agent needs to have their own account. We have had agents order in bulk under one account before, and all it does is get messy because we have no idea which agent took what course. We will need each individual's information in order to process your order when you do pass the test and want CE credit. So please make sure that when you log in to order a product, please ONLY make purchases for yourself. If you must make a purchase for a coworker or family member, then please make them their own account with all of their own personal info on it.
How do I view my past orders or downloads?
For a detailed explanation of how to view your past order status & history look under ‘ student center, view my account’.
How long will it take to get my self-study order?
Your order will be shipped within 24 business hours of the day it is received. We ship UPS Ground to street addresses unless the student selects (and pays extra for) overnight delivery. If a PO Box is given for the mailing address, we ship Priority Mail instead or Express Mail for overnight service. From our location in California, most ground packages will be delivered within 2-6 days from the date shipped.
Non-Sufficient Funds & Credit Card Charge back
In the event of non-sufficient funds (NSF) or a credit card charge back from you or your credit card company, Sandi Kruise Inc will revoke any and all credit you received for Continuing Education courses unless the agent responsible provides Sandi Kruise Inc an alternate payment.
What about another form of payment?
Alternate payment must be certified funds such as options found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certified_Funds
Certified funds must include 100% of the payment that was charged back, plus an extra $10 for bank fees.
Certified checks can be made out to:
Sandi Kruise Inc
PO Box 786
Bonita, CA 91908-0786
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Business and Personal Checks, Money orders and Cash.
Which is better, online or self-study?
Taking courses and exams online is the easiest and most cost-efficient way to get your CE done. You can order courses at discounted prices and packages, save on shipping, and you will not have to wait for materials to be shipped to you since they will be immediately accessible to you once you purchase them. The reporting process is also more efficient since your test results are posted to a daily report that we receive and process daily. You will not have to mail/fax your written exam answer sheet to us. So all in all, taking exams online is the best way to take your tests.
However, we do understand that some people out there still like to have the book and paper exam, so we do offer products for those who want the self-study version of the course. You will be charged an extra $10.00 for the book and exam and will also be charged for shipping. You will then have to complete the exam on paper and fax it/mail it to us at 619-421-8171. (*Nebraska self-study exams must be mailed to us. Emailing/Faxing of answer sheets are not allowed) -

We will not honor refund requests for CE subscriptions because the student didn't take their courses within that time frame and then request a refund because the subscription expires. -
Self-Study Exams
Can I fax my answer sheet to you?
Yes, for most states. Regular faxing is free and your exam will be handled in the regular flow of work. However, if you wish to have your exam graded immediately upon receipt of your fax, you must pay an additional rush-grading fee of $25.00 to be reported and sent a certificate immediately. Our fax number is 619-421-8171. If you would like to pay a rush-grading fee for expedited service, you may call us at 1-800-517-7500 to pay a rush grading fee for your course.
Remember: You do NOT need a cover sheet on your fax. Save a tree, don't send a coversheet on your faxes!

If you wish us RUSH grade your exam, please forward the $25 fee along with your exam and we will grade your exam and email your results to you within 2 hours of receipt on business days between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm PST.
How do I know which answers I got wrong on my test?
Unfortunately, it is against state rules for us to disclose any of the answers to the test to our students. We are not allowed to tell you which specific answers you got wrong or what the correct answer was. We are also not allowed to give out the percentage in which the questions were answered correctly. Can I take my exam using a wireless connection?
No, we do not want anyone taking exams over a wireless connecton because of how wireless connections time out. If you are in the middle of an exam and your internet connection times out and reconnects (you might no teven realize this when it happens) we may not get results of you passing your exam. If it times out and you complete your exam, you will see that your results will not have saved to your account's database, and therefore we have no proof of you passing the test. We do not want you to take a long test only to have it not get saved, so please do not take your test over a wireless connection. If you MUST Take your test over a wireless connection, you can print out the last screen of the exam, stating that you "passed this test" and fax it to 619-421-8171 or email it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We can see this and issue you credit for the course. To prevent any extra work on our part and yours, please take your tests over a non-wireless connection so that your results save to the database.
